Hi Bruno,

Sorry to hear that you are not feeling the best & we hope that all goes well for you & Josie. The reason we haven't been in touch with you is for one I lost your phone number & two we have been on a 6 week trip to the most northern part of Australia (which most Queenslander's call the tip).

We both enjoyed it very much, except the part of put-up of a tent every night & pull it down every morning, it would have been much better with the fifth wheeler, but the roads where a bit to rough to take it on. There were only six places that we stayed at for more then one night and when we got to them we were all really grateful.

One of these place was called Seisi (which is a Torres Strait Island Community) which was about 130kms from the tip & it also was the last camping ground. We stayed there for 5 days, first day we visiting the tip & did some sight see, second day we went on fishing trip about 3kms of shore, caught 6 fish but only 1 was of legal size, third day we all went to Thursday Island on a tour and the last day was a day to do washing 7 other jobs before the return trip.

Then it was back to the dirt roads, corrugation and dust, then on the fourth day we came upon this really great site it was black smooth and lasted for longer then 3kms, they called it bitumen road is also meant no more dust or having your filling fall out of your teeth. We all agreed that we didn't want to see that much dirt road with corrugation & dust again as long as we are on this earth.

Well pal I hope that you are feeling better and give our love to Josie.

Regards,
Ken & Marie

Hi Bruno
Got your email and posted an edited version on the guestbook page so your many friends can be aware.
Mate what can I say other than keep fighting and don't give up. Always remember that there are many of your friends still wishing you and Josie all the best, even though they may not be in daily contact, you are not forgotten.

Hi Bruno,
This scam email you received...do you still have it? If you do, please send it to my email at daikatana@optusnet.com.au. I dont think the members page has been hacked as I cannot see any strange names in the page. They are good nowadays and may hav picked up and used the actual address part .... I often get emails from banks that I dont or have never dealt deal with wanting my account details etc....they look legit until you hover the mouse over a link and notice the address can be totally different from the banks address etc...this is maybe what occurred to you...while it may look legit and may on appearance appear to have come from our site, hovering over the link shows a different email address or the link they want you to click on will show a strange looking website address.

I will keep an eye out for any more but so long as you dont click on anything in the email or give over any details they ask, you will be safe.....As I said, if you still have it or get another one, forward it to me and I will see how its is coming and I will also ask the site hosts if they can assist/investigate its links.

As for yourself ...keep on trucking mate..you will beat the bloody cancer..I know you will..keep strong and our thoughts and prayers are with you both. Michael and Annette

Hi Mate,
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling the best, hopefully the operation, the dotors and a little help from the guy above all will be well after it.
I just had a nasty thought and that is only the good die young, as we weren't that good, the guy up above is going to maker hang around a little longer just so he can make us suffer a bit more.
Well old mate look after yourself and Josie and we will see you at the next reunion

regards,
Ken & Marie

Hi Bruno
Had a thought about the transferring of money to the US. Do you know if your mates daughter has a paypal account? If she does I can send money direct to her paypal account almost instantly and there is no need for an international bank cheque and the fees that go with it.
If you get her email address I can talk directly to her and send the money directly to her.

G'day, there Bruno,Yes i've moved back to tassie, as i'm, too stuffed to drive, too old for a paper round, and too bloody ugly to be a Gigilo, I would like to go to the reunion, but alas, I'm already committed to go to the Birdsville races, with two of my cousins, but you never know, i'm usually like a bad smell, you'll never know when i'll happen, cheers mate, all the best... Cossie.
